PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mask for artificial respiration capable of providing soft adhesion to the face of a sick person and reducing air leakage at the time of mounting the mask on the face of the sick person and executing a high temperature sterilization processing at the time of repeatedly using it further. SOLUTION: A mask base part 3 is formed of a resin or rubber material of low hardness (a silicone-based resin material for instance) to abut on the recessed and projected surface of the face in the state of following it, an annular or divided void part 4 is formed inside the mask base part 3 so as to provide the soft adhesion to the face of the sick person X and reduce the air leakage at the time of mounting the mask base part 3 to the face around the nose and mouth of the sick person X, and a filler 5 is filled and tightly sealed inside the void part 4. Additionally, as the resin or rubber material of the mask base part 3, the silicone-based resin material without stickiness on the surface, whose steam resistance is≥100°C and JIS A rubber hardness is set between 1 and 10, is used, and the high temperature sterilization processing at about 110°C is easily executed even in the case of repeatedly using it.
