PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a safety mechanism and obtain a knock type writing implement which is sure and inexpensive and has excellent performance. SOLUTION: A retainment ball 2a and a retainment rib 3b which are equipped with a housed double knock mechanism are retained by pushing and projecting a knock rod 5 and furthermore pushing the knock rod. Thereby, the projecting state of a tip is held and a housed safety mechanism is constituted when the retainment ball is held up. Both the direction of rotation depending on a knock rod cam 5a and the knock cam 3c of a rotor 3 in the case of being projected and the direction of rotation depending on the receiving cam of the rotor and the cam 2c of an internal cylinder 2 in the case of being housed are made to the same direction. The rotor integrally having the retainment rib is constituted so as to be rotated in the same direction at every prescribed angle by repetition of knock. |
