A display device and method of managing a list of channel information in a video display device is disclosed. The display device includes the steps of displaying a first window including a first list of pre-selected channel information, storing at least one channel information deleted from the first window to a specified section of a data storage, displaying a second window including a second list of channel information stored in the specified section of the data storage, and restoring a channel information selected from the second list of channel information to the first list of pre-selected channel information. <IMAGE>
