The ship (10) has a deck house (14) made of composite material and connected to a deck (13) at its periphery along a connecting joint (42). The joint is formed between an internal edge of a passageway forming the deck and a lower edge of a peripheral lateral wall (34) of the house. The house presents at lower end of the wall, a joining edge supported on the deck, for forming the joint.
