PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for preparing a stimulable phosphor sheet seal where interstices in a part covered with a sealing film on the side where it is loaded into a camera are minimized in order to prepare a stimulable phosphor panel which secures a large image range, the stimulable phosphor sheet sealer and a method for preparing a sealing bag used for them. SOLUTION: The method for preparing the stimulable phosphor sheet seal where the inside of the sealing bag is decompressed after encasing the stimulable phosphor sheet in the sealing bag formed by folding one sealing film and thermally welding both its sides and an opening for encasing the stimulable phosphor sheet in the sealing bag is sealed by thermal welding is characterized in that the sealing bag has a U-shaped folding part whose thickness is 50 to 200% to that of the stimulable phosphor sheet and a side of the stimulable phosphor sheet is encased in the folding part with the edge of the sheet put into contact with the folding part.
