<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a protein constituting a ubiquitin ligase SCF conjugate which is an enzyme specifically carrying out deconstruction of a neuronal synapse and to provide a polynucleotide encoding the protein. <P>SOLUTION: The protein comprises a specific amino acid sequence. A polypeptide contains an amino acid sequence having the homology with the amino acid sequence and has an activity of an F-box protein constituting the ubiquitin ligase SCF conjugate. The polynucleotide encodes the protein or the like.
