<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for tissue sampling without requiring a plurality of piercing a needle into a patient or an organ. <P>SOLUTION: This biopsy apparatus 10 is equipped with a longitudinal axis, a hollow inner part, a tissue piercing tip end part, an outer needle 44 with a tissue receiving port 46 in the lateral direction, and a hollow cutter 68 placed in an inner lumen. The hollow cutter 68 has a sharp tip end part for cutting a tissue received into the tissue receiving port 46 of the outer needle 44. the hollow cutter 68 rotates in a hollow inner part of the outer needle 44 and moves. a tissue sample cassette 40 has a tissue sample partition ordered in parallel with the longitudinal axis of the outer needle 44. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
