<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a security system, capable of detecting an approacher, in which approaching of the approacher can be correctly detected through window glass even in rain to achieve stable performance. <P>SOLUTION: This security system for a vehicle is provided with a rain sensor 6 to detect raindrops 13 attached to the window glass 7 separately from a human detecting sensor 2 for detecting the approacher 10 approaching the vehicle 1.
