PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a mobile information terminal holder to easily transmit information, without hindering moving operations, such as driving of a vehicle. SOLUTION: An information terminal of an information providing system, which has the information terminal and an information server connected to the information terminal via a network and transfers information between the information terminal and information server, has a positional information acquiring means 405 of acquiring the current position; a speech input means 401 of inputting speech information, a storage means 408 of temporarily storing the position information in the information terminal with speech input inputted by the speech input means; a transmitting means 406 of sending the stored position information to the information server; and a positional information receiving means 411 of receiving the position information stored in the information server.
