<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas generator for an air bag with good operability, reducing the production amount of NOx. <P>SOLUTION: The gas generator is provided with a housing having a gas discharge hole; an ignition means operated by impact; and a gas generating agent ignited and burned to generate the gas for inflating the air bag. In the gas generator, the gas generating agent is filled in one or two or more of combustion chambers divided in the housing and at least two kinds of gas generating agents for generating different burning temperature are filled in at least any one of combustion chambers. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
