<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oxygen concentration detecting element capable of preventing the occurrence of a crack or the like caused by the heat stress in a heat part or a detection part, enhancing the yield of the lead part wires of a pair of electrodes and reduced in cost by reducing the number of times of printing of a heater insulating layer. <P>SOLUTION: The oxygen concentration detecting element is equipped with a core rod 2 formed of an insulating material, the heater pattern 3 provided to the circumferential surface 2a of the core rod 2 and generating heat by the supply of a current from outside and a detection part 15 provided on the circumferential surface of the core rod 2 at a position separated from the heater pattern 3, having an oxygen ion conductive solid electrolyte layer 5 activated by the heat from the heater pattern 3 and taking out an electric signal corresponding to the concentration of oxygen from the reference electrode 6 and the detection electrode 7 arranged to the inner and outer surfaces of the solid electrolyte layer 5. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
