PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an opening and closing device and a bathroom capable of being manufactured at a low cost by a simple structure and obtaining the relaxed effectiveness. SOLUTION: Stiles 18 are abutted against AT materials 21 whenever a Shoji (sliding door) 15 is opened and closed, and since anion is generated from the AT materials 21 exposed and provided to the bathroom 1 by percussion of the abutment, relaxing effects by the anion can be obtained in the bathroom 1. The anion can be generated only by providing the AT materials 21 containing anion generating material to jambs 13 of an opening frame 40, and a structure of the Shoji 15 is simplified to enable a door 10 to manufacture at a low cost.
