PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a health appliance for easily measuring an intracerebral activity amount like a pedometer and expressing the intracerebral activity amount with numerical values to be easily understood. SOLUTION: In the pedometer for the brain (1), pressure buttons (8) for sensing the motion of a finger are aligned by division into not less than five buttons for a thumb and the four fingers. A program and a calculation formula required for activating the brain are inputted to an integrated circuit, which is incorporated in a main body. Problems are given to a user on a liquid crystal screen (2) or an intracerebral exercise amount is displayed on it. The appliance is assembled to be a machine in size so as to be gripped by hand.
