PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seal structure for an A-type lateral fitting wheel which has high sealability, and detachability of an O-ring, and permits no sticking of a side ring. SOLUTION: This seal structure for the A-type lateral fitting wheel is formed by disposing the O-ring 4 at an end position on the axial central side of the wheel of a mating portion 7 of the side ring 1 and a rim 2, and by maximizing a radial distance between the rim 2 at the mating portion 7 and an axially extending section 6 of the side ring at a position of a fourth protruding section 11.
