PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a preparation process of a biodegradable spherical single powder which has a filler improving the mechanical, electrical or thermal property inside or on the surface. SOLUTION: The preparation process of a biodegradable spherical single powder contains (1) a process for heating and mixing a biodegradable thermoplastic resin with a dispersion medium that is incompatible with the thermoplastic resin up to the temperature not less than the melting point of the thermoplastic resin to disperse the resin into fine particles, and (2) a process for cooling down the obtained fine particles of the thermoplastic resin to the temperature not more than its melting point to make them into roughly spherical single powders whose average particle size is not less than 0.01μm and not more than 1,000μm.
