PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a home security system where a monitoring level is changed depending on an unlocking person, and when having sensed abnormalities, they are reported to a specified place as performed during locked state. SOLUTION: In a house, there are installed a web camera, an alarm unit, a switching sensor for detecting switching of an entrance hall door and an electronic lock, an authentication key operated when authentication is required, a temperature/humidity sensor, a gas detection/alarm or the like. Each resident performs locking or unlocking by his electronic key. A variety of sensors perform monitoring on the basis of the locking of the electronic lock. The monitoring is released by opening the lock, but the monitoring is performed when determined that the unlocking person is a child or aged person, and the monitoring is released when determined that the unlocking person is other than the child or aged person.
