PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a network facsimile machine capable of improving communication possibility more, without lowering the performance, to the utmost. SOLUTION: The network facsimile machine, equipped with the facsimile communication function of connecting with a public network and performing facsimile communication via the public network and a network facsimile communication function of connecting with an IP network and performing facsimile communication via the IP network, is equipped with a transmission selecting means of making a user selects a communication function available for transmission, wherein the transmission selecting means being disabled to select the choices of communication functions which are not available for communication.
