<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an SIM reader/writer for preventing any unintended button input without making its structure or function complicate. <P>SOLUTION: This SIM reader/writer is equipped with a connector for USB, and an SIM provided with a contact/non-contact interface is mounted thereon so as to be attached/detached. Operation buttons 9, 10 and 11 are set in recesses 6, 7 and 8 formed on the surface. Thus, it is possible to prevent any unintended button input by reducing a chance that a button is carelessly touched or operated. Also, such a type of SIM reader/writer that a finger operation type sensor or device is set near an operation button can prevent the button from being erroneously depressed when the sensor or device is operated with the finger. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
