PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten the dimension in the height direction of a head pipe. SOLUTION: The vehicle body for a motorcycle is constituted so that an upper and lower bearings are used with the combination of different diameter of large and small diameters by making an inside diameter D2 of a large diameter part 73 at the lower end side larger than the outside diameter D1 of a small diameter part 71 at the upper end side, and making the diameter different between the small diameter part 71 and the large diameter part 73 of the upper and lower bearing support parts. Holding rigidity of the bearing is improved by making the large diameter part 73 supporting the large diameter bearing be large, and the height H of the head pipe 3 can be shortened by shortening the distance of the bearing support part, that is, the distance between the small diameter part 71 and the large diameter part 73 be short by the increasing amount of the holding rigidity. In result, the ratio of the height H of the head pipe 3 and the inside diameter D2 of the large diameter part 73 becomes not larger than two to one, and the thickness T2 in the radial direction of the large diameter part 73 can be made thinner than the thickness T1 in the radial direction of the small diameter end part 71.
