<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an IC card capable of preventing data of high security recorded in the IC card from being permanently left in the IC card and preventing the data from being illicitly used. <P>SOLUTION: Since a power supply mechanism is built into an IC card, an IC chip packaged in the IC card is provided with a volatile memory to which power is supplied from the power supply mechanism and data of high security are recorded and stored in the volatile memory, the data recorded in a non-volatile memory are erased when the power of the power supply mechanism is exhausted, and the data of high security are not permanently left in the IC card. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
