<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for inexpensively and selectively separating a hydrogen gas from a hydrogen-gas-containing gas by using a chemical reaction. <P>SOLUTION: The method comprises using a hydrogenation apparatus and a dehydrogenation apparatus connected in series, reacting a mixed gas containing a hydrogen gas with an aromatic compound to selectively and reactively store the hydrogen in the mixed gas in the aromatic compound to form a hydrogenated aromatic compound, and feeding the hydrogenated aromatic compound into the dehydrogenation apparatus to dehydrogenate it into a hydrogen gas. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
