PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sealed electric compressor which eliminates generation of gas leakage from a terminal part even in the case that high pressure is applied to inside of a sealed vessel. SOLUTION: The sealed electric compressor (two-step compression type compressor 10) is equipped with an electric element 14 in the sealed vessel 12 and a compression element (a rotation compression mechanism part 18) driven by the electric element 14, electric terminals 2 for feeding electricity to the electric element 14, a metal terminal body 20 through which the electric terminals 2 are attached and a terminal 19 structured by an insulation material (a glass sealing 7) for insulating the electric terminals 2 and the terminal body 20. A through hole 12C through which the electric terminals 2 of the terminal 19 can be inserted is formed in the sealing vessel 12. The terminal body 20 is welded to an inner face of the sealing vessel 12 while the electric terminal 2 is inserted to the through hole 12C from inside. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
