<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display control device enabling even a user unfamiliar with electronic equipment having many functions to easily determine which site of the whole part of a magnified and displayed area corresponds to and further easily magnify and display an intended operation area. <P>SOLUTION: This display control device comprises a touch panel type setting operation part 90 having a plurality of operation keys laid out with characters or patterns on a display screen and configured to perform a predetermined input processing for an operated key. A magnification display means magnifying and displaying a part of the setting operation part 90 and a guide display means contracting the whole screen of the setting operation part 90 at the time of operation of the magnification display means, and displaying a guide screen B enabling determination of a magnification display part A are provided on the display screen.
