<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lightning-receiving unit for corners that is capable of preventing a corner of a building from breaking, by a stroke of lightning through its voltage and current endurance effect on the corners of a building and can be easily installed at the corner of the building. <P>SOLUTION: The lightning-receiving unit 10 for corners is so designed that it is installed at a corner of a parapet and it receives a stroke of lightning. The lightning receiving unit is comprised of: a substantially box-shaped covering unit 11 that covers a corner at which the upper face and two adjoining side faces of a parapet intersect with one another; a substantially box-shaped fixing unit 12 that is suspended at the opposing corner to the joint between the two side faces; and screw members 13 that tighten and fix the covering unit 11 and the fixing unit 12, so that the parapet is clamped in between them. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
