PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information-recording paper having a high bulkiness (a low density), a good rigidity and frictional coefficient, excellent in traveling property, accumulation property in a copying machine or printer, and printing adoptability in an inkjet recording method. SOLUTION: This information-recording paper contains a paper quality-improving agent consisting of (A) a copolymer having a structural unit derived from≥1 kind of a nonionic monomer having≤20.5 (MPa)<SP>1/2</SP>solubility parameter and a structural unit derived from≥1 kind of an anionic or a cationic monomer, and (B) a surfactant.
