PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent display quality from lowering owing to lateral crosstalk. SOLUTION: A driving circuit has a subtracter 402 which finds the difference between a gradation of a pixel positioned on one scanning line and a predetermined reference gradation, an integrator 404 which integrates subtraction results of pixels positioned on the one scanning line, an adder 410 which performs addition to a reference voltage of a precharging voltage, a D/A converter 414 which performs conversion to an analog signal of a voltage corresponding to the addition result, and an inverting circuit 416 which outputs a precharge signal Vpre generated by inverting the analog signal according to writing polarity.
