PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for suppressing weeds by which growth of weeds in desired places in which weeding on slopes in cold climates must be carried out is suppressed, the slopes can stably be maintained, maintenance and control can readily be carried out, danger operation can be avoided and environmental load can be reduced, because a herbicide, etc., is not used. SOLUTION: In the method for suppressing weeds by which growth of weeds on the desired slopes in cold climates in which weeding must be carried out is suppressed, buckwheat or comfrey and lawn grass are planted in a mixed state by blowing application.
