The invention relates to medicine and therapeutic agents reducing ill effects of acute alcohol intoxication. The inventive agent for reducing ill effects of acute alcohol intoxication comprises an amber acid and/ or the salts thereof, fumaric acid and/or the salts thereof, fructose, a dry hypericum (Hypericum) herb extract, magnesium and potassium ions sources in the form of active compounds and, if necessary, adjuvants, carriers and/ or fillers. Said agent reduces the ill effects of acute alcohol intoxication by enhancing activity for decreasing intensity of a post intoxication syndrome and for removing undesirable side effects thereof produced by excessive alcohol consumption.
