摘要 The fuel injector includes a throttling needle (57) for blocking the injection passage (56), an armature (58) mounted on the needle, and an opening electric solenoid (60) for applying an induced magnetic field for moving the needle in order to open the fuel injection passage. There is a closing electric solenoid (59) for applying an induced magnetic field for moving the needle in order to close the fuel injection passage. An electric potential is applied to the opening solenoid when the injection passage is to be opened, and an electric potential is applied to the closing solenoid when the fuel injection passage is to be closed. There is a unit for measuring the increment speed of the electrical current across the closing solenoid, and from this value, the duration of application of the electrical potential across the closing solenoid is obtained from the current increment speed, to obtain a value of the electric current flowing along the closing solenoid.
