HUMAN BODY DETECTOR FOR TOILET EQUIPMENT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a human body sensor for toilet equipment where sensitivity of human body detection is effectively improved by reducing the reflection of the signal waves of a Doppler sensor on the rear surface of a toilet cover to increase a transmitted amount. SOLUTION: Regarding the human body sensor for the toilet equipment, the Doppler sensor 46 radiating radio waves forward as the signal wave is arranged as a human body detection sensor inside of the casing 36 of the opening and closing support device 42 of the toilet cover 20 for supporting the cover 20 to be openable and closable at the hinge part of the both end parts. The rear surface of the toilet cover 20 and of a part where the signal wave from the Doppler sensor 46 transmits in the state of closing the toilet cover is constituted of a projecting and recessed part 52 having stepped surfaces 48 forming nearly a right angle with respect to the transmitting direction of a transmission wave.
