FIELD: chemistry. ^ SUBSTANCE: multilayer carbon nanotubes are obtained via pyrolysis of hydrocarbons using catalysts containing Fe, Co, Ni, Mo, Mn or combinations thereof as active components, as well as Al2O3, MgO, CaCO3 as carriers. The obtained nanotubes are cleaned by boiling in hydrochloric acid solution and then washing with water. After acid treatment, the tubes are heated in a stream of high-purity argon in a temperature gradient furnace. Temperature in the working zone of the furnace is at 2200-2800C and at the edges of the furnace, temperature is at 900-1000C. ^ EFFECT: invention enables to obtain multilayer nanotubes with less than 1 ppm content of metal impurities. ^ 4 cl, 9 dwg, 3 tbl, 6 ex |
