<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a socket structure of a luminaire, which can simplify the exchanging operation of a lamp body and prevent the falling thereof, as well asand also can simplify the design of a lighting fixture and reduce the production cost by reducing the parts count. <P>SOLUTION: The socket structure of the present invention is a socket structure of the luminaire which electrifies an electrode of a halogen lamp 20 from a pair of lead wires 6 via a pair of terminals 30 for connection by fitting a socket 1 for attaching the pair of the lead wires 6 for power supply into the pair of the terminals 30 for connection which are provided at the lamp main body 22 holding the halogen lamp 20 for lighting and are conducted to an electrode terminal of the halogen lamp 20. The socket 1 has an insulator 2, a pair of terminal receiving contact springs which push and hold the pair of the terminals 30 for connection which are attached inside the insulator 2 and are fitted into a pair of insert holes provided in the insulator 2, and a pair of terminal pushing/holding springs which are attached to a surface opposed to the pair of the terminals 30 for connection of the insulator 2 and each push and hold the pair of the terminals 30 for connection. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
