PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radar apparatus capable of high accuracy measurement of the angle to a target in each observation range, even when measuring the angle to the target from a remote region to a close region. SOLUTION: A target detection processing circuit 520 detects the target, on the basis ofΣdata outputted from an undesired wave suppression processing circuit 510. On the basis of the results, a distance measurement processing circuit 530 determines a distance r to the target. An angle measurement processing circuit 540 determines an error voltage E, on the basis of each data ofΣ,ΔAZ, andΔEL. The angle measurement processing circuit 540 is provided with N-pieces of reference angle measurement curves E<SB>n</SB>(r), according to the distances (r) to the target in a built-in memory. A radar control circuit 550 determines the value of (n) corresponding to the distance r. The angle measurement processing circuit 540 applies the error voltage E and the distance r to a reference angle measurement curve E<SB>n</SB>(r), corresponding to n determined by the radar control circuit 550, performs angle measurement computations, and measures the angle of the direction of the target.
