Food product composition comprises a protein (at least 50 wt.%) including (a) (in wt.%) animal protein (3-20), vegetable protein isolate (3-20), whey protein (3-20), whey protein hydrolyzate (5-30), a first animal protein hydrolyzate (2-17), a second animal protein hydrolyzate (5-20), optionally casein and/or caseinate (20-35), at least one humectant (5-15), and at least one animal or vegetable oil (1-10). An independent claim is also included for preparing the above composition, comprising (i) mixing the composition (a) including animal protein, vegetable protein isolate, whey protein, whey protein hydrolyzate, the first animal protein hydrolyzate, the second animal protein hydrolyzate, optionally casein and/or caseinate, in each case in a powdered-form to obtain a powdered mixture, (ii) adding water (5-10 wt.%), at least one humectant, at least one animal or vegetable oil, and at least one flavor (0-2 wt.%) to the above obtained powdered mixture, and (iii) and forming. |
