Drying biogas by contacting wet biogas with a hygroscopic desiccant comprises regenerating the desiccant with undried wet biogas. An independent claim is also included for apparatus for carrying out the above process, comprising a pipeline (1) supplying wet biogas, a drying column (6) in which the wet biogas is dried with a hygroscopic desiccant, and a regeneration column (2) in which the wet desiccant is regenerated with undried wet biogas.
