<p>PURPOSE: Provided is a manufacturing method of heat storage materials(like bricks), replacing conventional expensive heat storage materials, by using copper slag generated from copper refining. The resultant bricks have high heat storage capacity and thermal shock resistance. CONSTITUTION: The heat storage bricks are manufactured by mixing 30-70wt.% of copper slag, 30-70wt.% of clay and water glass(5-10%), aging for 1-7days, forming into a brick shape, drying at 50-90deg.C, and sintering at 750-1150deg.C for 15-30hrs. The copper slag generated from copper refining comprises 0.7-1.1wt.% of Cu, 3-10wt.% of Fe3O4, 36-48wt.% of Fe, 0.7-5.0wt.% of CaO, 0.7-1.2wt.% of MgO, 27-34wt.% of SiO2, and 2.5-5.5wt.% of Al2O3.</p> |
