Security door lock with emergency release button - has modular design with selected lock systems and with emergency release

The lock has a universal housing to take a selection of modular units to suit the particular applications. The main lock module (10) can be a key operated lock or a code operated lock using keypads, smart cards. The lock module can also be a remote operated transponder/receiver unit. An emergency release module (4) is included in all systems. The emergency release control (2) is fitted under a plastic seal which is broken to open the lock. Operating the emergency release opens the lock and activates a warning e.g. a siren.
