The windscreen (10) is assembled of two identical panes positioned behind each other and a heating element accommodated in a layer of a thermoplastic material located between the panes. The heated area can be stretched across a part of the windscreen or there can be two separate heated areas (12a, 12b). Each heated area (12a, 12b) is provided with its own connecting element (14) positioned directly at the edge of the windscreen in order to be joined to a complementary part attached to a power supply wire.
