PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To minimize the reduction of a work space on a desk and to easily take out kept required documents. SOLUTION: A document stand is constituted of a frame body 21 composed of a bottom surface part 21, left and right side face parts and a back surface part 22, a plurality of cases 3 freely turnably connected to the front end edge of the bottom surface part 21 of the frame body 2 respectively and arranged side by side in left and right directions while at least an upper surface is opened and a short direction is turned to a depth direction, and a plurality of stoppers 4 freely turnably connected to the back surface part 22 of the frame body 2 corresponding to the respective cases 3, to which the rear end side upper end edges of the respective cases 3 are freely slidably engaged. Then, at the time of turning the case 3 by pulling it out, the rear end side upper end edge of the case 3 is engaged with the stopper 4 and slid until it abuts against the front end.
