<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To transmit a command by designating an object to be controlled from a server side. <P>SOLUTION: Which of the operation of an IC card function part 51 and that of an R/W function part 52 a command transmitted from a server computer 1 is associated with is notified to a client application 31. As for the command transmitted after it is notified that the command is associated with the operation of the IC card function part 51, the command is executed by the IC card function part 51, and as for the command transmitted after it is notified that the command is associated with the operation of the R/W function part 52, the command is supplied to an external card 3 (IC card function part 61) by the R/W function part 52, and executed by the IC card function part 61.
