RADAR SYSTEM, RADAR DEVICE AND DISTANCE MEASURING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To measure distance to a target highly accurately by easy and simple constitution.

SOLUTION: A radar system 100 is composed of a transponder communication device 101 and a radar device 102. The transponder communication device 101 comprises a transponder receiver part 201 for receiving transmission wave signal transmitted from the radar device 102; a modulated signal generation part 202 for generating a modulated signal by modulating the received transmission wave signal; and a transponder transmission part 203 for transmitting the generated modulated signal. The radar device 102 comprises a radar transmission part 210 for transmitting the transmission wave signal; a radar receiver part 213 for receiving the transmitted modulated signal; a null point detector part 217 for detecting the null point in which the reception sensitivity of the modulated signal is insensitive based on the transmission/reception switching action by a transmission/reception part 214; and a distance calculation part 218 for calculating the distance to the transponder communication device 101 based on the detected null point.
