<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform walking training in a natural bipedal attitude of a human, to simulate the operation of starting walking or a stopping operation, and to reproduce the movement of feet gear-changed alternately by a driving mechanism composed of simple constitution. <P>SOLUTION: In a walking training apparatus 1 provided with a right pedal 13, a left pedal 14, and a moving mechanism 15 for moving the right pedal 13 and the left pedal 14 in a circulative manner, respectively, the moving mechanism 15 is constituted of a right side moving mechanism 19 provided with a right side link mechanism part for moving the right pedal 13 in a circulative manner imitating the moving track of a right foot at the time of walking and a left side moving mechanism 20 provided with a left side link mechanism part for moving the left pedal 14 in a circulative manner imitating the moving track of a left foot at the time of walking.
