PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a function for displaying detailed information about CM by simple operation of a user during display of CM in a broadcast receiver receiving a program including CM by broadcast radio wave. SOLUTION: The broadcast receiver receiving a program including CM by television broadcast radio wave comprises a means for receiving the broadcast radio wave and acquiring the data of a program itself and a program including CM, data of CM schedule indicative of the broadcast timing of CM and data of detailed information about the CM, a means for outputting the program itself by video image and/or voice and outputting the CM by video image and/or voice according to the CM schedule, a means for confirming the actual time upon accepting an indication of displaying a program explanation and judging whether the program itself is under broadcast or CM is under broadcast at the actual time with reference to the CM schedule, and a means for displaying the detailed information about CM if the CM is under broadcast and displaying the program explanation if the program itself is under broadcast.
