<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manual brake releasing device of a passenger conveyor capable of improving workability while preventing elongation of a wire for releasing brake. <P>SOLUTION: The brake manual releasing device of the passenger conveyor comprises a first wire 4 connected with the brake 3 for braking a driving machine 2, a rod 7 connected with the first wire 4, a second wire 6 connected with the rod 7, and a releasing lever that is connected with the second wire 6 and manually releases the brake 3.
