<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus capable of facilitating the diagnostic operation effectively by reducing the operation for selecting a probe in the diagnosis, saving the electric power used for devices, and increasing the life of the devices and probes. <P>SOLUTION: The apparatus has a probe holder to which a plurality of probes 100 are mounted when diagnosis is not performed. The probe holder has a probe type discrimination sensor 102 for specifying a detached probe among the plurality of probes at the time of diagnosis. When the probe type discrimination sensor detects that all the probes are mounted, an operator determines that probes are not used. At the time, a system control part 107 gives a command to stop the transceiving to an ultrasonic transceiving control part 104, or if necessary for the diagnosis, a command to delete the display to an image display control part 105. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
