PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect accurate rotor positions for high-precision control of various machines and the like, by removing effect by noises that cannot be removed by a conventional line receiver.
SOLUTION: The line receiver removes common noises from an A signal and a B signal whose wave length is the same and whose phases are displaced to each other by π/2 rad and a Z signal generated every rotation of a rotor. Then, noises other than the common noises that are superimposed on each of both A, B signals are removed, by regarding as noises the signals that change against the generation rule of both A, B signals. The rotating direction of the rotor is detected from the relation of the rise and fall of both A, B signals to remove noises according to the rotating direction. It is determined whether or not rotational speed exceeds critical speed that allows the change of the rotating direction. The noises other than the common noises are removed when the speed exceeds the critical speed. The high precision control of the various machines using an SR motor in particular is achievable effectively.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
