PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor holder that can prevent the bias of a cooling wind by effectively guiding the cooling wind into a motor, and an air blower equipped with the motor holder. SOLUTION: Two guide walls 21 positioned in the upstream of a face S1 that passes the axial line L1 of a rotating shaft 10 and opposes a opening 20, and arranged in parallel to the face S1 are integrally installed to the motor holder 2 at the bottom 2c of a housing part 2a. Furthermore, the guide walls 21 are arranged so that communicating holes 4b are formed at both sides in the upstream and the downstream of the guide walls 21, and positioned at lower parts of the communicating holes 4b. In the air blower constituted as above, the motor is driven and air-blow operation is conducted, and when the cooling wind is sent to a communication path via a shunt duct, an introduction hole and an air-blow passage, the guide wall 21 changes the direction of the flow of the cooling wind, and guides the cooling wind into the motor from the communication hole 4b.
