<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical print head capable of obtaining a good image constantly by simplifying initial adjustment and reducing influence of environmental variation of temperature, humidity, or the like. <P>SOLUTION: An output signal converted into two-dimensional exposure intensity distribution is obtained by passing a light spot emitted from an optical print head 1 through an objective lens 32 and forming an image on an area CCD 31. The output signal is obtained by lighting an arbitrary light emitting element in the optical print head 1 and processed/analyzed by an arithmetic unit 2. Based on the results of processing/analysis, output (amount of light emission) of each light emitting element in the optical print head 1 is regulated such that an output corresponding to a desired exposure characteristic value is attained. The optical print head 1 can measure the exposure characteristic value for all of a plurality of light emitting elements by moving them in the longitudinal direction above a stage 4. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
