PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical disk drive the weight of which can be reduced without reducing strength. SOLUTION: In this optical disk, a casing is formed into a bag shape by combining casing parts 2a and 2b. In the region of the casing part 2b in which a control board 12 is arranged, a hole 13 having an area slightly smaller than that of the control board 12 is disposed in the main planar part of the casing part 2b in accordance with the shape of the control board 12.
