<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small-sized and lightweight connecting device suitable for dealing with a fluid, particularly, a very low temperature fluid, and to provide a fluid supply system using the connecting device, and a valve used for the connecting device and the fluid supply system. <P>SOLUTION: In the fluid supply system 1 constituting a system of supplying hydrogen fuel to a hydrogen-fueled car at a hydrogen fuel station, in order to connect a mouthpiece 2a of a hydrogen tank 2 of the hydrogen-fueled car and a liquid hydrogen supply nozzle 3 of the hydrogen supply station to each other, the connecting device 6 is utilized. The connecting device 6 includes a male member 7 provided at a top end of the liquid hydrogen supply nozzle 3 and a female member 8 provided on the mouthpiece 2a so as to engage with the male member 7 under such a condition that the male member 7 is pushed into the female member 8. The connecting device 6 also constitutes part of a flow channel of liquid hydrogen or hydrogen gas between the mouthpiece 2a and the liquid hydrogen nozzle 3. A plurality of ball valves (a first ball valve 9a and a second ball valve 9b, and a third ball valve 9c and a fourth ball valve 9d) are provided in series on the flow channel of the male member 7 and the female member 8. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
